Laughing Ronin Press is accepting submissions for the inaugural issue of Sundog starting May 1st and ending on June 1st
What It Is:
The first issue of a quarterly(seasonal) haiku journal
Submission Periods:
Spring-month of February
Summer- month of May
Fall- month of August
Winter- month of November
WHAT TO SEND: Five to fifteen haiku/senryu
Haiku – A haiku is a short poem that uses imagistic language to convey the essence of an experience of nature or the season intuitively linked to the human condition.
Senryu – A senryu is a poem, structurally similar to haiku, that highlights the foibles of human nature, usually in a humorous or satiric way.

All acceptances and correspondence will be by email
· In the subject line put Sundog submission
· Include the poems either in the body of the email, or as an attachment
· Put your name and state/country etc as you want it to be published

BY THE WAY: We understand you could submit your material to various publications simultaneously. If your work is accepted for publication elsewhere before we’ve had a chance to confirm, please send us a note to withdraw your submission from our consideration.
RIGHTS: Rights always revert to the author upon publication.
Payment: Unfortunately, we cannot pay author’s fees or provide print contributor copies
